Flexible options: Choose between 4 or 6 travel days, valid for 6 months across 33 European countries.
Unlimited travel: Includes inbound and outbound train travel between home and host countries with unlimited train travel on each travel day, offering the chance to discover Europe’s hidden gems and travel favourites on the way.

How does it work?

For example, an Erasmus+ participant can use 2 out of their 4 or 6 travel days to travel from their home city Lille to their host university in Seville and return at the end of their Erasmus+ experience.

They can use the remaining travel days to stop in Lyon, Barcelona and Madrid along the way, or to explore their host country during the exchange period. They can use high-speed trains and night trains with a seat reservation and hop on and off as many regional trains as they’d like on each travel day.

The European Commission is offering Green Travel Support to universities that promote eco-friendly travel for Erasmus+ participants.

Lead the way in promoting sustainable travel by encouraging your Erasmus+ students and staff to order the Interrail Pass for Erasmus+ and use this grant to reimburse the cost of the Pass.
