UPCT International Office supports international students in the admission process to UPCT official degrees.

Where and when to request admission

a) Students from school systems in the European Union + Switzerland, Iceland Norway, Liechtenstein, European Schools, International Baccalaureate and China, always that they fill the requirements to access to Bachelor level studies in their home countries.

1-Need to request UNEDassis accreditation (National University of Distance Education) that will establish the mark to access to university in Spain: https://unedasiss.uned.es/home
Two specific competency tests can be taken to improve the mark.

a) Students from school systems in the European Union + Switzerland, Iceland Norway, Liechtenstein, European Schools, International Baccalaureate and China, always that they fill the requirements to access to Bachelor level studies in their home countries.

c) International students who have started Bachelor studies in their home countries and with baccalaureate diploma not accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

Requests of admission for students that have started Bachelor studies in their home countries need to be addressed to the Head of UPCT School to which the Bachelor Degree is assigned. This way is only accessible if at least 30 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) are recognized by UPCT. In case or recognition of 30 ECTS or more you would need to submit the following documents to UPCT:

  • Passport or NIE (original and copy).
  • Transcript of records of the higher education subjects passed in the home country, containing the following information: name of the diploma specifying if it is a higher education official diploma and if it gives access to master studies in the home country; explanation of the grading system; duration of the subjects (one semester of full year, number of hours and mark.
  • Detailed description of the contents of the subjects passed in the home country.
  • Full curriculum of the degree started in the home country.
  • Solemn declaration of not having requested accreditation of the baccalaureate diploma to the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (only for students who have finished Bachelor level studies in their home countries).

All the documents must be authenticated through diplomatic channels: the Hague Apostille if the country is signatory of the Hague Convention or if not in the Ministry of Education in the home country + Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the home country + Spanish Consulate in the home country.

A legal translation is also compulsory that can be done by:

c) International students who have started Bachelor studies in their home countries and with baccalaureate diploma not accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.

Requests of admission for students that have started Bachelor studies in their home countries need to be addressed to the Head of UPCT School to which the Bachelor Degree is assigned.
